The rules

  • Four players, thirteen cards each.
  • Declare Dash Call before the auction if attempting zero tricks; at most two players may call zero.
  • The highest number bid wins, using clubs < diamonds < hearts < spades < no trump to break ties.
  • Others estimate up to that bid.
  • The total cannot equal 13.
  • Last five rounds use no trump, spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs; bids of eight or more may change suit.
  • Exact estimates score 10 plus tricks with caller/with, risk, sole success and dash bonuses; misses lose the difference and applicable bonuses.
  • If all fail, the next round score doubles.
